you're in the right place if you're longing to

root your work in a place that reflects the depth of your care

slow down, soften, and reconnect with why you do what you do

be part of a community that values presence over performance

offer experiences that are as thoughtful as the work itself

help shape a more connected future for independent work

build something that reflects who you are and how you want to live

Alyn is more than a space. It's an invitation into slower rhythms, meaningful connection, and a more intentional way of working together.

Alyn's founder, Ali Caudill, has always been drawn to creating places where people feel at home—spaces where they can exhale, be fully themselves, and feel genuinely supported. Whether through therapy, photography, or community building, her work has always centered on creating the conditions for people—and their work—to flourish.

From the beginning, she knew Alyn could never be just another shared workspace. It was imagined as an environment where thoughtful design, genuine relationships, and a slower pace would nurture both the people doing the work and those they serve.

to create spaces where meaningful work could flourish

alyn began with a simple desire

She envisioned rooms that invited deeper presence. Hallways where conversations lingered. Studios that inspired creativity and connection. A place where independent practitioners could build meaningful work while feeling supported by both the space and the community around them.

That vision took root in The Plains, Virginia, and became Alyn—a thoughtfully designed home for practitioners, creatives, and entrepreneurs who believe independent doesn't have to mean alone.

Today, Alyn continues to grow as a community, and a movement, reimagining what independent work can feel like.

"Ali prioritizes care, connection, and healing for both the practitioners in the space and every human who enters through the doors.

 — T., Wellness Professional

"The environment is tranquil, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect space to teach and connect with others."

 — K., Yoga Instructor

"I'm so incredibly proud to be part of this team of passionate, tender, and loving humans who are deeply committed to creating meaningful impact in our community."

 — T., Wellness Professional

In their own words — the heart behind Alyn, seen through the eyes of our community...

Ali Caudill, M.Ed. is a relational therapist who helps people reconnect with themselves—especially during seasons of transition, identity shifts, grief, anxiety, or moments when life no longer feels aligned with what matters most.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through authentic human connection. Drawing from attachment theory, mindfulness, parts work, somatic awareness, and values-based approaches, Ali helps clients better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, and move toward lasting, meaningful change. When it feels supportive, she thoughtfully incorporates creative and experiential practices to deepen insight and self-understanding.

Clients often describe Ali's presence as steady, warm, and easy to be with. Her work centers on cultivating self-trust, self-compassion, and the courage to live in greater alignment with one's values so that insight becomes lasting change.

Ali holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Mason University and practices as a Resident in Counseling in Virginia under clinical supervision. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: when people feel truly seen and supported, they begin to remember who they are—and from that place, real change becomes possible.
